The Langley Foundation Received a Large Donation

The Langley Foundation is proud to share a significant milestone for our community.

Through the generosity of a local donor, the Foundation has received a remarkable gift of 14.3 acres of natural reserve land adjacent to Ponder Park, valued at just over $2.4 million. This contribution represents a lasting investment in the preservation of Langley’s natural beauty and green space for generations to come.

In partnership with the Township of Langley, this land will be thoughtfully integrated into Ponder Park, expanding the park’s footprint and enhancing its role as a place for connection, recreation, and reflection. The addition of this reserve will allow for the extension of existing trail networks, creating more opportunities for residents and visitors to explore, stay active, and enjoy the outdoors.

This project is a powerful example of what’s possible when community-minded donors and local partners come together with a shared vision. Together, we are protecting natural spaces, improving accessibility, and continuing to build a healthier, more vibrant Langley.

We are deeply grateful for this generous gift and excited about the lasting impact it will have on our community.
