The Langley Foundation Connects at Thunderbird Event
The Langley Foundation Shines at National Equestrian Show Jumping Event
This past August 2024, The Langley Foundation hosted a truly special event at the prestigious National Equestrian Show Jumping competition, held at the Thunderbird Show Park in Langley. The evening was filled with excitement, good company, and a shared passion for the foundation’s important work.
Guests were treated to a wonderful dinner and had the opportunity to participate in a silent auction, where a variety of exclusive items were up for grabs. The lively auction atmosphere was a great way to engage attendees while raising funds to support the Foundation’s ongoing projects.
One of the highlights of the evening was an update from Paul Weme, The Langley Foundation's Executive Director. Paul took the time to share insights into the foundation’s current initiatives and upcoming plans. From supporting local community trail and park development and expanding their reach throughout the Langley's, the projects discussed generated enthusiasm and excitement among those in attendance.
The event provided a perfect blend of philanthropy and entertainment, set against the backdrop of the thrilling equestrian competition. Guests enjoyed mingling with fellow supporters of the foundation, watching top-tier show jumping, and hearing firsthand about the positive impact their contributions are making in the community through The Langley Foundation.
Overall, the evening was a huge success and served as a reminder of the important work The Langley Foundation is doing in Langley. Many guests left with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to supporting the foundation's future endeavors.
We look forward to seeing even more great things from this great community organization!
