The Langley Food Bank helps our community who face hardship when finances become very slim. We are pleased to announce, Raphael House received the Langley Community Prosperity Fund Grant. Raphael House supports families and connects them to the community by providing them with groceries, life skills and resources. A mobile food hub was established in 2020 by concerned school staff as a once a week drop in for struggling families in the Langley district. The Langley Foundation is proud to have been selected to administer the Community Prosperity Fund for Langley based non-profits. The CPF was a $25 million investment from the Government of B.C. that advances poverty reduction and social inclusion. We received funding requests from thirty-three nonprofit organizations in Langley with funding requests for just over $5.3 million, however had only $695,000 to grant.
