PROJECT: Ponder Park North

Ponder Park North

The Langley Foundation is proud to share a significant and lasting contribution to our community.

Through the generosity of a local donor, the Foundation has received 14.3 acres of natural reserve land adjacent to Ponder Park, valued at $2,430,000. This remarkable gift ensures the preservation of important green space while creating new opportunities for the community to connect with nature.

In partnership with the Township of Langley, this reserve will be thoughtfully integrated into Ponder Park. The addition of this land will expand the park’s footprint and allow for the extension of existing trail networks, creating more space for walking, exploring, and enjoying the outdoors. This expansion will enhance accessibility and provide a more connected and immersive experience for residents and visitors alike.

This project reflects a shared commitment to protecting natural environments while investing in the long term health and vibrancy of Langley. It is a meaningful step forward in building a community where green space is preserved, accessible, and enjoyed by all.

A heartfelt thank you to the Rotary Clubs for their ongoing partnership and support. Their dedication to community projects continues to make a lasting impact.

As part of this initiative, a Day of Service at Ponder Park will bring volunteers together to support the transformation of this space and celebrate what can be achieved when a community comes together.

Together, we are creating a greener, more connected Langley for generations to come.
